A LAM Outreach Project with Troup County Active Life Center
activists and students from the LaGrange College Art Department

In February 2011, a selection of art students from LaGrange College met regularly with active seniors at The Active Life Center. The aim was to create space for discussion, recollecting, and building relationships between older and younger people. We hoped to share ideas and memories, opinions and experiences between artist and participants/subjects. It was intended that one student will be matched in some way with one or more seniors to facilitate the young people learning about the seniors’ lives and experiences. What has been produced are a series of poignant and stunning images which will be presented in the LAM Project Space.Organized and Curated by Megan Johnston
