8 am to 10 am—Market on Main at the corner of E. Depot and Main Street; find homegrown vegetables, baked goods, flowers, herbs, grass-fed beef and more while supporting your local farmers!
10 am to 2 pm—West Georgia Health presents a free baby and maternity fair—Baby Palooza 2012. The event will be held at First Baptist Church on the Square’s Family Life Center in downtown LaGrange. Activities include car safety seat checks, diaper derby crawl contest, daddy and me look-alike contest, and crafts. There are education sessions on the following topics: 1) how to calm a fussy baby, 2) nutrition—getting baby off to a good start and 3) photography 101—how to capture those moments. 10 am to 4 pm—Legacy Museum on Main (136 Main Street) features photographs and memorabilia—including old Coca-Cola machines—in its new exhibit, “Bubbling UP Business: Bottling Industry of Troup County.” Admission is free of charge.
10 am to 10 pm—Pine Mountain RV Resort (8804 Hamilton Road) presents “Cruisin’ Cars on the Mountain—Support our Fallen Soldiers.” Classic cars, muscle cars, musical entertainment, food, vendors, raffles and more will be offered.
