Gates open at 7 p.m. on Saturday for The Molly Ringwalds and The Return: a Tribute to The Beatles. Kimble’s Food by Design will be serving a fresh-off-the-grill menu. Don’t miss the $4 draft pint special featuring Wild Leap’s Local Gold Blonde Ale and Chance IPA from 7 – 7:30 p.m. on the Great Lawn!

Please report to the Sweetland Merchandise Booth at 7:30 p.m. if you are participating in the 1980’s costume contest. The Top 8 will be chosen and walked down to the Main Stage. The winner will receive two 2018 Summer Concert Series passes!

The VIP parking lot will open at 6:30 p.m. Please have your parking ticket ready to be scanned at the entrance gate. All patrons must park in the numbered space designated on the ticket. Violators will be towed.

Blankets and low profile, beach-style chairs are permitted on the general admission sloped lawn ONLY. Out of respect for fellow concert-goers, chair legs must be no higher than 12” off of the ground.
Rules & Regulations
Outside food and beverages, including alcoholic beverages, are not permitted into the venue. We will be serving a variety of beer and wine, including local options. Coke products, Powerade, and water will also be available for purchase.
Sweetland Amphitheatre sits just north of historic, downtown LaGrange, Georgia. Within a few blocks of Sweetland and downtown LaGrange there are over 1,000 parking spaces available for public parking.

Smoking is only allowed in the designated smoking area located on the Great Lawn just west of the Pavilion. Smoking is strictly prohibited in all seating areas including the lawn. This includes electronic/vapor cigarettes.

Tomorrow night at Sweetland

Celebrate the Red, White and Blue at Downtown’s annual patriotic event on Friday June 30. Hosted by Downtown LaGrange Development Authority, Downtown Partners and Jackson Beverage, the festivities are part of the Sunsets at Sweetland series featuring free music and movies for all to enjoy.

The gates open at 6 p.m. to a festival atmosphere with local food vendors and activities on the lawn, including interactive games compliments of Coors Light and the Atlanta Braves. Tie dye a Sweetland t-shirt for $10.00. At 7 p.m., event goers will be able to Meet & Greet some of LaGrange’s WWII heroes in the Boyd Pavilion.

Settle into a seat and listen to popular patriotic big band tunes on the amphitheatre stage at 8 p.m., under the direction of Neal Brumbeloe and narrated by Carol Cain as Rosie the Riveter. Once the sun sets, SING – an animated movie, will be shown on a huge outdoor screen on the lawn.

Sunsets events are “picnic approved”, which means that outside food and beverage, along with picnic blankets and chairs are allowed to be brought into Sweetland. Make plans to pack a picnic or carry out from your favorite downtown eatery and bring your friends to enjoy a relaxed evening under the stars on Sweetland’s Great Lawn.

Local vendors will be selling Frios gourmet pops, Kona Ice, Holloway’s pork skins, Mighty Joe’s pizza, The Nutty Bavarian’s cinnamon glazed almonds, pecans & cashews. Popcorn, cotton candy, candied apples, fried oreos and soft drinks will be available for purchase. Patrons can purchase ice cold cans of Coors Light and wine by the glass.

Plan to attend Sunsets at Sweetland again on August 4. Enjoy free live music by The Headhunters and the movie – Fantastic Beasts and Where to Find Them on 8/4.
